Oh, we love Crystal. She’s at it again!
You have to see this! Crystal Renn and 17 year old model, Jacquelyn Jablonski who has modeled for Calvin Klein jeans are pictured side-by-side in the next issue of V Magazine modeling outfits from Versace, Ralph Lauren and Dolce and Gabanna.
Photographed by Terry Richardson for V Magazine, each model lends her own unique personality to the outfits. We love this trend of using models of all shapes and sizes to represent all of us and not just the very thin or very young. Fashion, after all, does not stop at a size 4, it is for every woman who wants it. Great work! More as it happens.

I’ve always been a fan of fuller-figured models. There’s a great site with many images of Crystal and other plus-size models here:

They’re all gorgeous.
The site’s forum also has thought-provoking discussions about body image and the media.
It’s interesting, because by having models of different sizes fit in the clothes, it really makes these styles of clothing more accessible to average sized people, and not just more accessible, but also more enticing to purchase.
I think Crystal Renn looks much better than her size 0 counterpart in all the outfits. I would be interested in knowing if they had to have the outfits made extra for Renn, or if they are standardly available in a size 14 (I think she is a 14?).
That is a good point about whether the clothes were off the rack or made specially for Crystal–will try to find out.
There are lot of online sites that don’t do as they say, only to take people’s money. You have to do research as in any line of work. It’s best to check a site that is not looking for money and offering valuable information about the business, like what to watch out for and what is worthwhile to pursue. I owned a modeling franchise for 10 years and have a site that explains the industry in detail.
You should check a few sites like this one before you make any quick decisions. And if you have any questions just contact me through the site or reply here. Thanks
