Dec 13

Isn’t this time of year just a glam-o-rama?  Who doesn’t love the holidays? Breakfasts with friends, lunches with co-workers and the infamous office party and how can we forget those holiday parties with your pals?

What to wear this season? The options are ever so glamorous from outright sparkle and shine to subtle hints of embellishment you will have the look that is right for you– from modest to bold as well as appropriate for the occasion.

In the mood for glitz that goes with anything?  Try one of the Teez Her Sequin Tank Tops in white or black or  for when you are in the mood for just a hint of embellishment and color underneath a slinky jacket or cape.

Want just a tad more glitz? How about this Cover Charge Sequin Cape With just sequins on the lapels, it’s perfect for both that holiday party and New Year’s Eve Celebrations!

You can never go wrong with Simply Silk.  Our best occasion line, Simply Silk has jackets and dresses with  great color such as this purple floral swing jacket or tasteful beading on the bodice such as this beaded burgundy and green kimono jacket.

Need nail polish? I have to show you!  Right now I am wearing one of OPI’s Muppet Collection Polishes, “Gettin Miss Piggy with It.” My students liked it!  I think it’s a bit much for everyday, but there’s no doubt, in just a few days, I will be ready to party and all set for the holidays!

Whew! It has been a whirlwind around here! We have got the latest and greatest fashion finds for Holiday 2010!

This holiday season pay attention to “Real World” dressing which reflects the busy woman’s lifestyle and priories.  You will see that the focus is on easy casual and sophisticated chic!

Easy casual, is defined by practical, year-round, fashionable clothing which easily transcends from day to evening.  Think beyond basic black and look  for solids in chocolate, wine, charcoal and navy which absorbs light and slenderizes. Take a look at our Art of Cloth Seabreeze Jacket in crimson and charcoal-a perfect topper to wear to a holiday party.

Easy casual and sophisticated chic are personified by the sheath dress with flattering princess seams such as our Neon Buddha slip dress. Add a splash of color with a red wrap and you are set to party!

Always in style–separates! We are having great success with easy casual and sophisticated jackets! Try this Cover Charge Rose Slinky Cape for a jacket with a hint of glam and embellished with tiny rhinestones. If you need a bit more of a glam  look, consider a  jacket from our Simply Silk line. This purple burnout pattern kimono jacket extends past the hips.

Want something a bit more dressy? Sophisticated chic is defined by clothes that are dressy, but not overdressy!  Seek clothes that skim and show off your curves. Pieces made from jersey-like fabrics, have V-necklines and low knots accentuate in all the right places.  We love the color and fit of our Kiyonna Gabrielle Tie Dress.

This holiday season have fun with family and friends.  Be sure to take advantage of the easy casual and sophisticated chic trends as you count your blessing and celebrate  the season and into 2011!
