Really Sweet
Review by Kristen MeadI got this dress for a wedding, and from the pictures over on the kiyonna website it looked like a lighter purple than it actually is. I ended up not using it for the wedding, because I was a little worried about it being too heavy a color for an early afternoon affair.
I do end up wearing it to work and to church, however, and I absolutely adore it for that. It's quite forgiving--I could make do without the spanx. The sleeves (arms set my size, unfortunately) are quite relaxed, so I was able to get a size that fit my body as well as my arms. The small ruffle details are sweet, but not overbearingly femininine.
I'm not a busty gal at all--I'm a C in a 2x--but this dress looked great on a bustier friend, and it doesn't gape in spite of my not having mountains. I put a cami under it for church and work... but if it's just my husband and I... well... you know.

Really Love This Dress
Review by Kristen M.I got this dress for a spring wedding, but the color purple I think can bring it into winter, if you make up for it with a sweater.
It's easy on, easy off, the material travels well, it's lined so you don't need a slip. My husband likes it. You might want a cami, I think even a plain white would work, or maybe a lighter shade of purple.
All in all, it's a very typical Kiyonna dress. You just can't go wrong with that brand as long as you have the right size. (Posted on 11/26/10)
